Students in Mrs. Taylor and Miss Garner’s first grade class have been learning about the needs of animals — food, water, air, space, and shelter. Students were assigned an animal, researched the animal, and designed shoe box dioramas to display the animal’s habitat. Students were tasked with creating models to ensure all of their animal’s needs were met.

A HUGE thank you to Farmer's Furniture, Store 36, for providing tasty snacks and water for our teachers today. What a wonderful treat!

Judge Jeremy Baker visited the 4th grade gifted class and gave an engaging presentation on how court proceedings are held. Students learned about the roles of the judge, lawyers, witnesses, and jury, and gained a better understanding of the judicial process. Judge Baker also shared real-life examples from his experience and answered students' questions. The visit was both informative and inspiring, sparking students' curiosity about the legal system and civic responsibility.

Mrs. King’s class wrapped up an exciting week of learning about plants! Students explored the different parts of a plant using real vegetables, bringing science to life in a fun, hands-on way. To celebrate their learning, they enjoyed a healthy snack.

Mrs. King’s class made the most of a beautiful day!
We’ve been learning all about the needs of plants, and today we got our hands dirty and planted our very own flowers. The students are so excited to care for them and watch them grow—what a wonderful way to bring our science lessons to life!
