4th grade students in Mrs. Lopez's & Mrs. Scott's reading classes have successfully presented their 3 C's projects on the Civil War! Working in collaborative teams, they had the opportunity to choose from 9 creative presentation options, including scrapbooks and clickable maps.
In addition to showcasing their creativity, this project emphasized the importance of research and incorporated essential reading and ELA skills. Students engaged with various texts to gather information, analyze sources, and synthesize their findings, all while enhancing their comprehension abilities. This cross-curricular approach allowed them to make meaningful connections between social studies and language arts, deepening their understanding of the Civil War while developing valuable skills for their academic journeys.
Their hard work and collaboration truly shone during their presentations, showcasing their understanding of this important historical event. We are so proud of their creativity and teamwork! 📚✨ #CivilWar #3CsProject #LearningInAction
