I am deeply honored to represent Clyattville Elementary School as Teacher of the Year! Being a part of CES for over 14 years has been an incredibly rewarding journey. From the moment I first walked through its doors, I felt a strong connection to this community—a place where I have grown both professionally and personally. I am excited to continue this journey and contribute to our school's ongoing success.

My educational journey began at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. Recently, I achieved my STEM endorsement and am now actively working toward STEM certification for our school.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with fifth graders, teaching subjects like math, science, and social studies. It has been a joy to help students grasp concepts such as fractions and marvel at the wonders of the natural world. Now, as I teach students from kindergarten through fifth grade, I am eager to inspire a love for learning and create an engaging and enjoyable classroom experience for all.

As I enter my second year in this role, I am excited to introduce a variety of new STEM challenges. My goal is to integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in ways that ignite creativity, foster critical thinking, and enhance problem-solving skills. Through innovative projects and real-world applications, I aim to equip our students with the tools and mindset needed to become effective problem-solvers, critical thinkers, and future leaders in STEM fields.
